When
I was eight years old, I started thinking about why my name was Yusong. In
China, there are a lot of common names like Wei, yet the names actually do not
mean anything. However, in my memory, I had not remembered anyone who had the
same name as me. I was eager to know what my name meant. I tried to ask my
father, but he did not know anything. Luckily, when I asked my mother, she knew
why I was named by Yusong[宇嵩].
It was a interesting story. When my mother was pregnant, my family wanted to
give me a good name. However, until the day I was born, they still had no idea for my
name. It was possible that I had a common name. Fortunately, my aunt gave me my
name after three days. It was the Yusong [宇嵩]. Yu[宇] means universe. They
hoped I would learn a lot because the universe is huge and mysterious. In
addition, Song[嵩]
means a really tall mountain. At the same time, there is a mountain that name
is Song in China. My aunt wished that I could grow up as tall as the Song Mountain. Yusong[宇嵩]
means they gave their best wishes and love. I love my name, and I love my
family too.
Yusong, your family hoped you learn a lot. I think it is true now.

ReplyDeleteThe picture you posted so matches your name. It is always hard for adults to name a child a meaningful and beautiful name. You are lucky.
